Fishing Bot By Mrsergey Klyuch

I have successfully written a very simple and effective fishing program that I will finalize and post the source code at some point later. It is only like 30 lines of code and gets the job done. It really wasn't that hard - just a couple days of coding and tweaking in the off hours. I've already obliterated the AH with my fish.
I can catch prob like 1500 fish a day along with about 200 - 300 Volatile water, which go for like 20G a pop on my server. The program isn't very smart, like, its not gonna scan for fishing pools or anything, but it will let you sit for hours at a time and continually get strikes, while missing maybe 1% of the time. Not only that it will reapply my fishing hat lure every 10 minutes so I'm always capped. If anyone wants to turn it into an executable and modify to make more user friendly I'd be cool with it, all I ask is I get a 'Very Special Thanks to Mike the Fishmonger'. Sorry, didn't really read into the thread too much that this was for a specific fishing bot program already.
A WoW fishing bot is pretty much exactly what you’d expect – a third party software, designed to fish in WoW for you, while you can just be away from the computer completely, whether doing something else or even sleeping.
I wasn't trying to steal the flame from Opie or change the topic of the thread, just wanted to share my fishing bot experience with the rest of you fishermen. Black swan dual audio torrent download. With that being said, Mr. Opie, based on the information I saw re: your bot it seems to be a billion times more involving than my meager 30 lines of code, so with that, I applaud you. However, many people seem to be having difficulties with it, and I'm guessing it's due to the complex nature of your program. Maybe you can find a way to incorporate some of what I've done into your work? Maybe you will just laugh at it?
Haha its cool I won't take offense. My script works well under the right conditions. Being in a certain place, camera zoomed all the way in, facing the right direction, etc. And will go awry if things aren't set up correct from the get-go. I'd like to make it more 'aware' but haven't had the time to do so.
Anywho, my $0.02. Thanks Mike for the fun bit of code! I am not a programmer by any means but I do enjoy learning new things and trying to get stuff to work.
In this case, I tried to run the script but ran into a couple of issues. First one was the lavender color defined for the search was not found on my screen.
I tried to expand the color range but it did not help. Then I changed the color to red and it located the color the very first try. However I cannot get the calculation to work that detects the movement of the color. Can you explain your concept on how the movement detection should work. I am interested in trying to make this work. Mike, thanks for the reply. I don't have the script in front of me at the moment but here is a description of a couple of things I have tried.
First I took out the hat stuff so I could try to condense the script to make it easier to troubleshoot and change. Then I added a pixel search and mouse move to place the mouse over the bobber position (I searched for blue in this case) Then I used your position comarison but added both the x and y axis (I searched red in this case) to detect bobber movement I was able to get it to work pretty well in Stormwind but when I moved to another location it just wouldn't work at all. I suspect that the color changes slightly in each zone and it is a bit of a bother to find and reset the colors when they get out of whack. Not sure if there might be a way to use GETPIXELCOLOR here. Perhaps Opie has some suggestions on how he identifies the bobber and how it may work in this case.
Anyway, thanks again this is fun. (more fun if I can get it to work). 'I was able to get it to work pretty well in Stormwind but when I moved to another location it just wouldn't work at all. ' A couple of things to point out: 1) The bobber color changes when the mouse is over it.
You may need to set the initial bobber search color outside of the movement searching loop. 2) The bobber color IS affected by your video settings, along with the time of day. [A moonlit bobber is darker than one at high noon] 3) The weather of the game is constantly changing, and also affecting the bobber color. It may be advantageous to change your video effects to minimal. When I set my script up, I did it in one location where the weather never seemed to change, and dropped pretty good fishing loot: Tol Barad.
Nice little fishing area behind the Ally base that has decent protection from Horde. Also, I've completely killed the auction house value of Volatile Water.
